Style Buzz: Mini Style Sessions, Capsule Wardrobes, 3 Ways to Wear a Burgundy Silk Skirt

Three Ideas to Inspire Your Style This Week

QUOTE OF THE WEEK

"I seem to have fallen in love a new version of myself while wearing my old clothes!"

While it's nice to buy new things as a treat to yourself, it's a lot of fun to rediscover who you are by looking differently at the things you already have. You bought them for a reason, which means you like them or perhaps you hope they'll help you reveal a new version of yourself, so maybe you just need to see them in a new way! Learning how to express yourself authentically through style - even with your current wardrobe - is self-care and a daily reminder that you DO respect and love yourself! xxx

BLOG POST: 22 Pieces, 43+ Outfits

Love is in the air! I had such a fun time at the Engaged! event last weekend chatting with bridal couples about their travel packing for destination weddings and honeymoons (and giving them temporary bee tattoos!). To show how that works, I took a carry on bag and filled a rail with all the clothes that fit in it. They were surprised not only by the number of pieces but the seemingly endless ways to put outfits together!

3 WAYS TO WEAR IT: Burgundy Silk Skirt

What says effortless elegance more than silk! It flows beautifully, feels lovely, and works for almost any occasion.

The navy cardigan ties in with the detail of the matching shirt, and the cream slides pop against the darker pallet.

A slouchy grey cashmere sweater and pewter booties that match the shine of silk are effortlessly cool without the harshness of black.

A simple cream blouse with a plaid-patterned open blazer are polished and comfy, especially with light brown suede boots.

One more thing: I'm so excited to be releasing a self study course next week, and since I can't help but overshare, you'll be able to download the first module for free! It's probably the hardest one as it's all about mindset (yes, style has everything to do with mindset, especially if you're looking to change your style!) but it's the best way to set the right foundation of how you want to represent yourself.
